Call me to arrange a home visit, it's free. We'll use this for mutual introductions with you and your furry family member(s), and exchange relevant information necessary to create a personalised contract if you are interested in a service.
You can request a video or telephone call instead of a home visit, but please note in most cases it is more beneficial for your furry family member(s) to meet a new person in their home with their favourite human also present the first time.
It is beneficial to your furry family members to meet a new carer in the presence of their favourite human, even if there is no need for an exchange of keys. Otherwise, I will take this into account for the first visit(s) and introduce myself gently in addition to your specifications.
A behaviour correction appointment consists of observation in the home environment in its first phase, so an initial consultation in the home won't be necessary beforehand.
This can be arranged only if there is a clear reason why this would be more beneficial to them e.g. as part of a customised care or behaviour correction plan.
I would normally advise against displacing your furry children into a new home environment unless they are either left alone for several weeks at a time or have specific care & welfare needs (especially kittens).
If you are blessed with canine family members in addition to felines or small furries, I will be delighted to look after small to medium size dogs that do not require intensive walks (I have a mobility impairment). I love dogs and have lived with them, but I can't provide for big or energetic dogs that require outdoor exercise exceeding half an hour.
